Adimec to Showcase Latest Camera Innovations at SPIE Defense + Commercial Sensing Conference

From April 15th to 19th, Adimec will be exhibiting at the SPIE Defense + Commercial Sensing conference in Orlando (US) at booth #606.

The company will highlight its newest advancements with the TMX CMOS rugged camera series, featuring Adaptive Resolution and eZoom functionality in 4k UHD color.

With Adaptive Resolution, the TMX series is designed to replace lower-resolution CCD cameras while improving performance without sacrificing Field of View. This feature adjusts the high resolution of the CMOS sensor to a level comparable to the output of a CCD camera. By leveraging this capability, users can retain their existing optics and benefit from enhanced image quality, including lower noise, higher Modulation Transfer Function (MTF), and dynamic range. The improved performance is made possible by Sony Pregius second-generation sensors, which significantly boost identification capabilities even in low-light conditions.

The eZoom functionality enhances detection, recognition, and identification probability through optimized interpolation algorithms that deliver the sharpest zoom-in results possible.

Additionally, Adimec will provide a sneak preview of its Advanced Image Processing (AIP) technology, showcasing future developments focused on improving image quality for long-range observation. For example, AIP aims to address atmospheric turbulence mitigation in real-world scenarios.
