Adimec Connect & Grab simplifies digital imaging implementation by reducing setup time for single or multi-camera integration through validated components and clean raw images.
Adimec Connect & GrabTM streamlines the entire digital imaging implementation process into a simple, user-friendly solution for rapid single or multiple camera integration. Users can begin evaluating images in under one hour.
The connect & grab experience encompasses two key aspects:
Connect
This component addresses communication and interface setup (connect). Adimec simplifies integrating cameras with essential system elements like cables and frame grabbers by validating our products against a broad range of compatible components under simulated customer conditions. Leveraging the ease of GenICam, part of the CoaXPress standard, this aspect reduces communication setup time for vision engineers.
& Grab
This component focuses on image quality (grab). Adimec cameras deliver clean raw images out-of-the-box and provide easy-to-use features for system-level calibrations that can be completed within minutes. This approach minimizes early-stage engineering effort during evaluation and design, making Connect & Grab ideal for multi-camera vision systems.
How Adimec Connect & Grab is Applied
Example 1: NORITE Xperience Package
Adimec collaborates with frame grabber and cable suppliers to provide a tested development kit. This package includes four cameras, a frame grabber, and necessary cables for quick multiple camera system setup.
Example 2: Adimec Camera Features
Factory-performed corrections ensure reliable performance. For field calibrations like low frequency flat field correction (LF-FFC), our easy-to-use interface completes the process in minutes or application notes provide step-by-step guidance.
Example 3: Clean, Raw Image Out-of-the-Box
Beyond system-level calibration, Adimec cameras undergo automatic dark and bright field corrections and defect pixel processing during live acquisition. This results in high-quality images ready for immediate use in applications.
