At the International Technical Exhibition (ITE) in Yokohama, Japan, running from December 3rd to 5th, Adimec is showcasing new additions to its QUARTZ series. These innovative cameras are designed for high-resolution imaging and advanced metrology applications.

Key Highlights:

  • QUARTZ Q-12A180/CXP: This camera stands as the fastest 12-megapixel model, operating at up to 187 frames per second (fps) via CoaXPress V1.1 certification.
  • QUARTZ Q-2A750/CXP Prototype: A compact 2-megapixel camera delivering speeds of up to 750 fps over CoaXPress.

Technical Specifications

The Q-12A180/CXP utilizes the CMOSIS CMV12000 global shutter sensor, enabling it to capture high-resolution images at exceptional speeds. Operating on a CoaXPress CXP-6 interface (quad configuration), this camera achieves peak transfer rates of 2 GByte/s with data speeds up to 25 Gbits/s across four channels.

Notable Features:

  • Extended Cable Length: Supports up to 68 meters.
  • Power Delivery: Provides a maximum of 9W via the single CoaXPress cable.
  • Image Quality: Ideal for metrology systems requiring precise, high-speed measurements on minute structures or defects.

Sapphire Family Enhancements

Adimec’s CMOS-based Sapphire series also features notable updates. The S-25A30 camera offers a 25-megapixel resolution (5120 x 5120 pixels) with a frame rate of 32 fps using the Camera Link full configuration.

Sensor Technology: The Sapphire cameras leverage ON Semiconductor’s Vita 25k CMOS image sensor, optimized for superior pixel quality and performance.

Exhibition Details

Adimec will be present in Booth 80, providing live demonstrations of these cutting-edge technologies. Additionally, Technical Sales Manager Masahito Watanabe will deliver a presentation titled “The fundamentals of camera & image sensor technology” during the AIA Certified Vision Professional Basic Courses on December 4th from 13:00 to 15:50.
