Extended SWIR Wavelength Range with New Goldeye Camera Models
Allied Vision has introduced four new models in its renowned Goldeye SWIR camera series, featuring extended range InGaAs sensors capable of detecting wavelengths up to 1.9 μm or even 2.2 μm at high quantum efficiencies. These cameras incorporate dual-stage sensor cooling (TEC2) and advanced on-board image correction features, enabling superior visualization of specific spectral characteristics with exceptional image quality.
Extended SWIR Wavelength Range
The Goldeye XSWIR cameras now reveal material properties in the wavelength range above 1.7 μm. By extending into deeper infrared regions, more unique spectral signatures can be detected for improved material differentiation—a critical advantage for sorting applications or assessing concentrations within composite materials.
Key application areas include waste recycling, moisture detection, foreign object identification, and laser beam profiling.
With these new models, the Goldeye series now spans wavelengths from 0.4 μm (standard VSWIR) to 2.2 μm (XSWIR).
