Allied Vision Showcases New Alvium Cameras at Vision China 2019
Allied Vision Unveils New Alvium Cameras and Embedded Vision Solutions at Vision China Shanghai 2019
At the upcoming Vision China (Shanghai) 2019 exhibition from March 20-22 in Shanghai, Allied Vision will showcase its Alvium Camera Series along with other machine vision solutions. The debut of these cameras marks a significant milestone for embedded vision technology.
The Alvium Camera platform introduces a groundbreaking approach to system design freedom by addressing the limitations found in traditional camera and sensor modules used in embedded applications. Built on Allied Vision’s proprietary ALVIUM Technology, this System-on-chip solution delivers robust industrial performance tailored specifically for embedded vision requirements.
During the exhibition, visitors will have access to live demonstrations featuring various Alvium models running on different embedded boards. These demos highlight the platform’s versatility and showcase how it can be implemented across diverse applications requiring high-performance imaging capabilities within constrained environments.
Innovations in Polarization Imaging
Allied Vision is also introducing its Mako G-508 POL polarization camera, equipped with Sony’s latest Polarsens TM 5.0 MP IMX250MZR/MYR CMOS sensor incorporating four-directional polarization filter technology. This cutting-edge solution enables advanced surface inspection by reducing reflections and enhancing contrast in low-light conditions.
The Goldeye SWIR camera demonstrates another dimension of machine vision capabilities, allowing detection beyond visible light spectrum through its specialized sensors optimized for scientific research and industrial applications requiring extended exposure times with minimal noise artifacts.
Advancements in AI Integration
A highlight of this year’s presentation is the integration of state-of-the-art AIDI-OCR algorithms from Aqrose Technology with Allied Vision’s Manta G-895 camera. This combination enables highly accurate real-time Optical Character Recognition (OCR) performance, particularly valuable for applications requiring reliable text recognition across various imaging conditions.
The full range of Allied Vision machine vision cameras will be available for demonstration during the exhibition. Industry professionals are encouraged to engage with technical experts to discover how these innovative solutions can address specific application requirements.
