Introducing Hardware Trigger for Our 3D Time-of-Flight Camera
In our latest update, we’ve added a new feature to our 3D Time-of-Flight camera: hardware trigger support. This enhancement allows users to control the camera’s image acquisition and exposure through an electrical signal instead of software commands.
With this hardware trigger functionality, you can now synchronize your imaging tasks with external devices such as programmable logic controllers (PLCs) or light barriers. The triggering mechanism sends a direct electrical pulse to the camera’s input port, initiating the capture process instantly—virtually eliminating any delay between the signal and image acquisition.
This low-latency approach enables more precise control over your imaging sequences, making it ideal for applications requiring high-speed synchronization.
