Basler AG presents medical imaging portfolio with Dust Protection+, Brilliant Image features at analytica 2022.
Basler AG Will Showcase Medical & Life Sciences Solutions at analytica 2022
From June 21–24, Basler AG will present its portfolio for the medical and life sciences industries at analytica 2022 in Munich. Under the theme “Let’s Realize Your Vision,” the company will highlight its current product lines and comprehensive computer vision solutions tailored for this sector.
A standout feature is the MED ace camera series, optimized with the Dust Protection+ feature set. This enhancement ensures superior cleanliness, which is critical in applications like microscopy where dust particles could disrupt imaging. The new feature guarantees high-quality results by minimizing contamination. Basler’s full product lineup includes the ace 2, dart, boost, blaze, and 3D stereo camera series, along with lenses and processing hardware designed for seamless integration.
Practical demonstrations underscore the benefits of Basler’s offerings in medical and life sciences. One example showcases an automated urine sediment analysis system using a neural network on an Edge Device. Leveraging its expertise, Basler develops complete solutions by matching customer-specific requirements with custom hardware and software components from a single source.
In light microscopy setups, cameras from the MED ace series demonstrate exceptional image quality through features like Brilliant Image and Perfect Color—integrated directly into the camera’s FPGA for optimized performance.
Marcus Birkenfeld, Global Business Leader for Medical & Life Sciences at Basler AG, notes: “Customer engagement is central to our strategy. After years of canceled trade events, we’re excited to connect personally with clients.”
Basler’s analytica 2022 presence will be in Hall A3, Booth 408. Additional details about their medical portfolio can be found at www.baslerweb.com/medical.
