Baumer neoAPI and Baumer Camera Explorer enable quick, simple, and efficient camera integration.
Starting immediately, Baumer is offering two new free-of-charge software packages—neoAPI and the Camera Explorer—for fast, easy, and efficient camera integration. These tools are available for PC- and ARM-based systems under Windows 7, Windows 10, and Linux.
Baumer neoAPI facilitates camera integration in Python, C++, and C#. The new GenICam API features a modern design that allows quick familiarization. With just a few lines of code, even developers with limited image processing experience can integrate Baumer cameras into various applications. Integrated automatisms minimize the necessary code to as few as six lines for image acquisition and storage.
Thanks to auto-complete support, not only code segments but also GenICam camera features are prompted and completed while help options provide further guidance. This enhances evaluation efficiency and simplifies software updates.
The intuitive Baumer Camera Explorer GUI application allows quick evaluation and configuration of the cameras. Its clearly structured user interface optimally supports familiarity with testing, and configuring multi-faceted camera features. Thanks to its flexible customization capabilities, the tool can be used for various tasks—from camera setup through process monitoring to recording and documentation—benefiting both field support and laboratory workstations.
