Opening of Baumer High-Tech Center: First Employees Move In
Mid-October marked a significant milestone as the first 50 employees relocated from their temporarily housed offices into the modern facilities of Baumer’s new High-Tech Center at Lake Constance. In a symbolic gesture, the company colors were raised on behalf of these “residents of the first hour.”
After approximately 18 months under construction, this new center has been met with great enthusiasm since its opening. Its striking architecture and welcoming interior spaces—featuring generously proportioned offices—are expected to foster creativity, innovation, and operational efficiency among staff members.
The various meeting areas provide excellent opportunities for interaction and collaboration, which employees have warmly welcomed as they begin working in these improved surroundings.
This move sets the stage for further team expansion within existing departments while addressing challenging positions across key areas such as Electronics and Research & Development at Baumer’s new Competence Center.
Plans indicate that an official grand opening ceremony is still scheduled to take place during 2018.
