Japan's Largest AI Tech Event Showcases Embedded Vision Components
The 8th AI Expo Tokyo, recognized as Japan’s largest trade fair dedicated to artificial intelligence technologies, recently concluded from May 10th to 12th, 2023. This event served as a platform for exhibiting cutting-edge machine vision products tailored for embedded vision and AI applications.
Highlight: 6-Channel Carrier Board at the Show
A standout feature of the expo was The Imaging Source’s innovative embedded vision components, particularly their newly introduced carrier board. Designed to minimize system footprint while boosting flexibility, this board utilizes an NVIDIA Jetson Xavier NX System on Module (SoM) to integrate six FPD-Link III cameras.
Dynamic Demonstrations and New Products
The demonstrations at the booth included a live showcase of The Imaging Source’s 6-channel carrier board powered by the NVIDIA Jetson Xavier NX SoM. This setup connected seamlessly with multiple FPD-Link III cameras, highlighting its capability in multi-camera applications. In addition to this display, attendees had the opportunity to view demos of several new products: the Edge Camera and Z Series zoom cameras from The Imaging Source. Furthermore, the event spotlighted TIS cameras enhanced by ASUS AI software tools.
