The Imaging Source Announces New Managing Director
Charlotte, NC, United States (September 6, 2022) — The Imaging Source, a well-known international manufacturer specializing in machine vision cameras and software for industrial imaging, has announced the appointment of Günter Arztmiller as the new managing director at its headquarters in Bremen, Germany.
The company’s co-founder and outgoing managing director, Rolf Bollhorst, will retire on September 1, 2022, after providing steady leadership and vision for over 30 years. This change marks the beginning of a planned generational shift within The Imaging Source.

Günter Arztmiller, an Austrian native, has lived in Germany since 1997. With over a decade of experience as managing director for a supplier offering high-performance control solutions for conveyor systems in the automotive industry, he brings extensive expertise to The Imaging Source.
Prior to that role, Mr. Arztmiller held leading positions in sales and management across Europe and Asia, working with companies specializing in camera and sensor-guided robot systems.
