New MIPI/CSI-2 Module Lineup

The Imaging Source will introduce its new MIPI / CSI-2 module lineup along with a novel FPD-Link III™ Serializer / Deserializer bridge. This expanded product line includes various industrial sensor modules and is compatible with multiple platforms. The compact camera modules feature an embedded target platform’s ISP for direct execution of demosaicing, color correction, and other post-processing tasks.

Extended Cable Solutions

For applications requiring longer cable lengths, The Imaging Source offers FPD-Link protocol-based bridge solutions. The new FPD-Link III bridge supports up to 15m cable length while enabling simultaneous data transmission, control channels (such as I2C or CAN), and power delivery through a single coaxial cable.

NVIDIA Jetson TX Series

The Imaging Source provides embedded system solutions based on the powerful NVIDIA Jetson TX1 / TX2 platforms. These systems feature high-performance GPUs along with dedicated ISPs capable of processing up to 12 CSI-2 camera lanes at speeds of 1.5Gbps per lane, supporting up to six simultaneous camera streams.

AI Labs’ First Product: Pick & Load

Through its subsidiary “AI Labs,” The Imaging Source will unveil its first product in the field of automation intelligence and artificial intelligence: Pick & Load.

Pick & Load is an affordable and efficient solution for automating machine loading and unloading tasks. Even small and medium-sized enterprises can now implement automated CNC loading and unloading processes. This system integrates a compact 3D sensor with active illumination, an embedded platform, and smart software to provide cost-effective solutions characterized by low power dissipation and a compact form factor. With minimal time and effort investment, Pick & Load enables automation of unpalletized part loading and unloading from tables, palettes, or drawers.
