Similar to Germany’s “Industry 4.0,” the Chinese government’s “Made in China 2025” initiative has spurred unprecedented investments in industrial infrastructure, particularly in automation and robotics. As one of China’s largest trading hubs, Shenzhen is rapidly emerging as the country’s primary center for robotic manufacturing and smart technologies. This makes it a natural host for major automation exhibitions in southern China, such as the Industrial Automation Shenzhen (IA Shenzhen) event.

Stereo 3D: Flexibility Redefined

The IC 3D system simplifies stereo 3D implementation with its adaptability to varying working distances and compatibility with multiple TIS industrial cameras. Notably featured at IA Shenzhen were the DFK 33UP1300 and DFK 33GP1300 color industrial cameras.

Showcasing Innovation

During June 28–30, 2017, The Imaging Source and its partner Sunvision unveiled their latest products at IA Shenzhen. Among the highlights was the IC 3D stereo 3D application from The Imaging Source, which is compatible with a range of industrial cameras and can be easily configured to meet specific application needs.

Other notable displays included USB 3.0 and GigE industrial cameras, as well as a compact, high-resolution 42 MP autofocus camera. These cameras utilize advanced sensors like the IMX264, IMX265, and PYTHON series for optimal performance in automation, production, and robotic machine vision systems.
