The Asia-Pacific machine vision market continues its upward trajectory, with attendance figures at the 2017 Korea Vision Show reflecting this positive trend. Trade fair organizers reported a significant increase in visitor numbers, up by 24% compared to the previous year.

To broaden its reach and appeal to a wider audience, the Korea Vision Show partnered with AUTOMATION WORLD under the name “AIMEX.” This collaboration took place from March 29-31, 2017, at the Coex Center in Seoul, South Korea. The Imaging Source and their authorized reseller, VIEWRUN Co., Ltd., showcased their products during this event.

Highlighting Key Technologies

At our booth, we demonstrated advanced barcode recognition capabilities using our high-resolution cameras and the IC Barcode developer library. Specifically, we highlighted performance with 42 MP autofocus cameras at the show.

We also introduced new camera models featuring cutting-edge sensors from Sony and ON Semiconductor:

  • The 33 series (USB 3.0)
  • The 33e series (GigE)

These latest sensor technologies offer improved image quality for various machine vision applications.
