As automation processes continue to evolve, image-based technologies play a fundamental role in applications such as automatic inspection, process control, measurement and robot guidance.

With the global transition toward smart factories (Industry 4.0, IIoT and IoT), companies face two key challenges: identifying best practices and implementing these changes efficiently. The 28th Taipei International Industrial Automation Exhibition 2016 provided valuable insights through feedback from over 76,106 engineers, system integrators and automation professionals who addressed Industry 4.0 (IIoT) themes.

Highlighting Advanced Camera Technology

The Imaging Source showcased its 33 series of HDR cameras equipped with highly sensitive Sony Pregius CMOS sensors (IMX264/265/252/174). These specialized cameras are particularly well-suited for demanding applications in production automation and quality assurance.

Visitors had the opportunity to observe camera features through a live demonstration featuring a Carrera race track. This interactive display highlighted the capabilities of these advanced imaging devices.

The company extends special thanks to resellers Nevis and SureTech for their significant contribution to the successful exhibition.
