The camera consists of three main pre-assembled components supplied by the manufacturer. Its cube-shaped body measures approximately 4.4 cm in length, has dimensions of about 3 x 3 cm (weight: 57 g), as shown in Fig. 1a. A USB port is located on the rear for connecting to the included cable.

On the front, there’s a small aperture (~1 mm) housing the integrated optics assembly lens with anti-reflection coating. Additionally, a central internal screw thread measuring 2.5 cm in diameter (Fig. 1b) accepts the camera tube—about 3.5 cm long from its edge and weighing 28 g—with an inside clearance of roughly 3.3 cm.

The third component is a high-eyepoint ocular designed for glasses wearers, featuring magnification of 10x, field number 22, and an eyetube outer diameter (OD) of 30 mm. This optical element fits precisely into the camera tube without axial deviation and can be secured using an Allen head screw (Fig. 2). The ocular is marked with ‘SWH 10x, MT’ and originates from Meiji Techno Ltd., Japan; it was originally intended as a finder eyepiece for one of their microscopes but functions here due to supporting magnified, fully-corrected intermediate images.
