The Go Series has added a new model—GO-8105M-5GE-UV. This innovative 8.1-megapixel camera combines high resolution with exceptional sensitivity to ultraviolet (UV) light, featuring a powerful 5GBASE-T interface.

Compact Design Meets Advanced Imaging

This latest addition boasts the Sony Pregius S IMX487-AAMJ CMOS sensor in an impressively compact form factor measuring only 29 x 29 x 68 mm. The camera delivers full-resolution images at up to 66 frames per second through its high-speed interface, making it ideal for demanding industrial applications.

The Pregius S sensor offers a small pixel size of just 2.74 µm, enabling sharp imaging while maintaining excellent performance thanks to backside illumination technology—a breakthrough that allows smaller pixels without compromising quality.

Superior UV Sensitivity

This model significantly expands JAI’s capabilities in the UV spectrum, covering the entire UVA, UVB range and extending deeply into UVC wavelengths—an improvement over previous models with lower resolution (5 megapixels) and limited spectral sensitivity.

Key Features:

  • High-speed 5GBASE-T interface with auto-negotiation that intelligently adapts to network capabilities
  • Two configuration options: standard model with protective quartz cover or glassless version for specific applications
  • Rich feature set including image flip, blemish compensation, shading correction, and automatic level control

Expanding the Go Series Portfolio

The GO-8105M-5GE-UV joins a comprehensive lineup of industrial cameras—now totaling 25 models—in JAI’s popular Go Series. This versatile camera family includes:

  • Models with resolutions from 2.35 to 5 megapixels
  • Multiple interface options (GigE Vision, USB3 Vision)
  • Specialized versions for polarization imaging

Applications in Complex Industrial Processes

Its combination of high resolution, rapid frame rates, and enhanced UV sensitivity makes this camera ideally suited for challenging applications including:

  • Semiconductor mask inspection
  • Wafer processing
  • Material sorting systems
  • Fluorescence analysis
  • High-voltage technology research
  • Advanced microscopy
  • Dermological imaging
