January 25, 2024 – SVS-Vistek GmbH has announced a leadership transition and a strategic realignment designed to strengthen its market position and drive future growth.

New CEO Takes the Helm

Robert Franz has been appointed CEO of SVS-Vistek GmbH. He stated, “Walter Denk has played a significant role in the positive development of SVS-Vistek in recent years. Therefore, he deserves our sincere gratitude for his outstanding achievements and the impressive market position that SVS-Vistek holds today. With this foundation, we can confidently plan further growth steps.” Mr. Franz will also oversee the broader TKH Vision portfolio, including Allied Vision.

Strengthening Collaboration within TKH Vision

This transition reflects a deeper integration within the TKH Vision group. Key leadership roles have been consolidated to streamline operations and maximize synergy.

  • Björn Krasemann (CSO): Oversees sales activities for SVS-Vistek and Allied Vision.
  • Johannes Zurin (Director Business Development & Marketing): Leads marketing activities for the same portfolio.
  • Thorsten Schmidt (CPO): Remains in charge of Product Management, safeguarding competitive advantages.
  • Gerd Reichle (CTO): Continues to lead Research & Development.

Operational Enhancements

Changes have also been implemented within the Operations department. Following the retirement of Gerd Völpel (previous COO), Andre Kruse, COO of Allied Vision, has assumed the role of COO for both companies. Initially, purchasing functions will remain largely independent, but joint activities are already underway. Further analysis will be conducted to identify and realize additional synergy potential.

Strategic Goals

Robert Franz emphasized the primary goal of these changes: “The main goal of these measures is to enhance the presence of the companies with customers and in the market, and to operate more successfully by continuously improving performance in the interests of our customers.” The combined efforts of SVS-Vistek and Allied Vision will focus on leveraging the strengths of both organizations, fostering collaborative growth, and ultimately maximizing their collective potential.
