Inside SVS-Vistek: Leadership Changes Mark New Chapter for TKH Vision Companies
January 25, 2024 – Robert Franz has officially taken over as CEO of SVS-Vistek GmbH, marking a new era for the company within the TKH Group. In his inaugural statement, Franz highlighted the pivotal role of Walter Denk, the former CEO, acknowledging his contributions to SVS-Vistek’s success and market presence.
Consolidating Leadership Across 2D Vision Companies
Franz is streamlining management by consolidating responsibilities for SVS-Vistek and other German 2D Vision companies (part of TKH Group) under a unified leadership structure. This move aims to strengthen collaboration between the entities, which already operate closely as integral parts of TKH Vision.
- The sales functions previously managed separately by SVS-Vistek and Allied Vision are now merged under Björn Krasemann (Chief Sales Officer).
- Similarly, marketing activities led by Johannes Zurin (Director Business Development & Marketing) have been integrated for both companies.
Maintaining Core Functions While Fostering Synergy
Key divisions such as Product Management (led by Thorsten Schmidt, Chief Product Owner) and Research & Development (headed by Gerd Reichle, Chief Technology Officer) will retain their current roles to preserve existing competitive advantages. However, increased collaboration between these teams is expected to enhance synergy and coordinated decision-making.
Thorsten Schmidt now additionally serves as SVS-Vistek Site Manager for the Gilching site, further emphasizing operational integration at this key location.
Operational Changes Under New Management
The transition also affects the Operations department: following Gerd Völpel’s retirement as COO of SVS-Vistek, Andre Kruse (COO of Allied Vision) now oversees operations for both companies. Initial purchasing tasks remain largely separate to ensure continuity, though joint activities have already commenced. Further synergy opportunities will be assessed in coming months to expand collaborative functions progressively.
A Strategic Approach to Future Growth
Franz emphasized that these organizational changes are designed to enhance customer engagement and market presence while improving operational efficiency for the benefit of all stakeholders:
“The main goal of these measures is to enhance the presence of the companies with customers and in the market, and to operate more successfully by continuously improving performance in the interests of our customers.”
– Robert Franz
By intensifying collaboration between SVS-Vistek and Allied Vision, the company aims not only to leverage each organization’s unique strengths but also to accelerate joint growth and unlock further potential.
