Excellent Sensor
The hr342 features a Sony IMX342 sensor boasting 31 megapixels, delivering exceptional image quality far exceeding industry standards. Its advanced architecture minimizes Fixed Pattern Noise and maximizes the Signal-to-Noise Ratio, resulting in superior flatness and an impressive dynamic range of over 70 dB. This cutting-edge pixel design is based on Sony’s Pregius 2 cell technology, ensuring high sensitivity even with a compact pixel size of 3.45µm—making it compatible with affordable yet top-tier lenses available on the market today.
Unmatched Speed
The hr342 achieves an outstanding frame rate of 35.4 fps, currently the fastest camera employing Sony’s IMX342 sensor technology. This performance is enabled by the innovative Sony SLS-EC protocol and CoaXPress interface. Combined with a meticulously designed housing for optimal heat dissipation, this setup keeps operational temperatures low to minimize noise—offering peak image quality even at high speeds.
Versatile Interface Options
The CoaXPress version provides exceptional speed alongside long cable lengths and integrated power delivery via the data lines. While it excels in performance, an alternative option is available for users prioritizing compatibility with GigE networks: the hr342 model equipped with a 10 GigE interface balances flexibility with nearly the same level of speed as CoaXPress.
The CoaXPress version is already accessible to customers via sample units, while the 10 GigE variant will be released shortly—marking both iterations as exemplars of SVS-Vistek’s innovation in industrial imaging technology.
