The hr120 represents the pinnacle of ultra-high-resolution imaging with a remarkable 120-megapixel resolution. This exceptional clarity makes it ideal for detailed display and electronics inspection tasks, aligning perfectly with the growing trend toward large-image microscopes.
Key Innovations: Sensor and Thermal Management
At the heart of the hr120 lies a Canon APS-H rolling shutter CMOS sensor featuring 13,272 x 9,176 pixels—each measuring just 2.4µm square. This advanced sensor benefits from an improved temperature management system in the HR series body design, delivering superior optical precision and image consistency.
This optimization allows sophisticated electronics to fully leverage the low-noise characteristics of the sensor, resulting in an impressive high dynamic range.
The camera also features a versatile M58 lens mount, offering maximum flexibility when selecting lenses or adapters.
Standard Features and Integration
Like all SVS-Vistek industrial cameras, the hr120 includes essential functions such as lookup tables, area of interest adjustments, offset controls, flipping capabilities, and binning options. For seamless system integration, it offers extensive I/O features including electric and optical inputs, a timer, sequencer support, and input operators.
An integrated multichannel flash controller eliminates the need for additional hardware or programming complexity. Users will also benefit from advanced lens corrections—defective pixel compensation and shading adjustments—which are critical for demanding applications.
The success of every SVS-Vistek product stems from precision engineering across cameras, lenses, and light sources—a foundation built into each device’s design.
Interface Options
In December 2017, a Camera Link version supporting up to 6.7 images per second entered series production, enabling hr120 deployment starting in January 2018. A CoaXPress interface variant is expected later in Q1/2018.
