Euresys has unveiled substantial improvements in data transfer performance with its newest generation of Coaxlink frame grabbers. Visitors can experience these advancements firsthand at Control 2016, where SVS-Vistek will showcase the innovative benefits of the CoaXPress frame grabbers live on their booth.

AMD DirectGMA Support

Starting from version 4.5 of the Coaxlink driver, Euresys now supports AMD’s DirectGMA technology for the first time. This allows image data to be transferred directly to the Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) for processing without burdening the CPU, effectively reducing latency and eliminating unnecessary copies in system memory. The result is enhanced overall performance.

Parallel Data Transfer Capabilities

The introduction of the Coaxlink Quad G3 DF further expands Euresys’ capability to transfer data from a single camera source to multiple host systems simultaneously via one CoaXPress stream—thanks to its PCIe 3.0 interface, offering speeds exceeding 3 GB/s without requiring complex cabling setups. This simplifies integration into existing infrastructures while boosting throughput capabilities significantly.

Ruggedized Design for Harsh Conditions

Another highlight is the optimized Coaxlink Duo PCIe/104 frame grabber designed explicitly for operation under challenging conditions such as extreme temperatures or high vibration environments common in mobile platforms and military applications. Its “ruggedized” design ensures reliable performance where standard equipment might not suffice, making it ideal for demanding deployment scenarios.
